Our client is looking to hire the BEST Project Engineer experience in project management. Are you resourceful? Are you extremely organized?

As Project Engineer, you will be hands-on, manage overall costs and track cost overruns for projects, and create alternative solutions when project is not running on schedule and or has cost overruns. Managing project timelines and drive due dates/milestones to completion is key! Is this you? To be considered, here is what you’ll need:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Engineer with experience in Project Engineer or Project Management in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

  • Manage overall costs for projects and track cost overruns and out of scope work.

  • Come up with alternatives when project is not running on schedule or has cost overruns.

  • Be able to custom design project timelines on-the-fly.

  • Participate in customer meetings and do presentations to a certain extent.

  • Manage project timelines and drive due dates/milestones to completion.

  • Management/Allocation of resources across different projects/timelines.

  • Setup and maintain Projects/Database in company’s MRP system.

  • Project reporting/scorecard(s) – Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly.

EducationExperience, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineer.

  • Three plus years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. 

  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills and motivational skills.

  • Must be able to successfully manage conflict.

  • Someone who is resourceful and can think of alternatives when stuck on a project.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite to include Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word.

  • Project management certification preferred but not required.
